I was late for a visit to the TV Zone blog,
So to that site did I jog;
And the news I beheld set my heart beating fast--
Diane Werts on a cyber-broadcast.
I could scarcely contain my joy at the news;
To the Dave White archives did I hike;
I was eager to hear what the files contained,
And what Diane's voice sounded like.
I was glad that I went, for the show was much fun;
The host and his guests were a dream.
They were better by far than this stupid poem--
What the heck happened to the rhyme scheme?

And to this link you should dash like a flash (but first check any local laws pertaining to flash-dashing): Talking Television with Dave White, where you'll find the 60-minute segment of Diane talking Christmas televsion. (Link is on the right.) Do what I did and right-click, "Save Target As," wait for the download, and you'll be talking Christmas television in no time.
Or you'll have a talking television in no time. Then you'll know it's time to call the shrink.

What the devil is going on here? I think the cold is starting to seep into your brain...
Get thee to the Talking Television archives. You'll be glad I did.
My brain, alas, is beyond thawing.

Hi, Lee! I don't post on blogger very often, but I'm going to be doing a radio show this weekend, thought you might possibly find it remotely enjoyable. More info here: http://themadblonde.blogspot.com/2007/12/wassail-wassail-all-over-radio.html
Thanks! -Karen
Thanks, Lee, for the plug.
But tell everybody I'm not just talking television -- I'm talking CHRISTMAS television!
Even I didn't know there was a "Wagon Train" Christmas episode (several!) till one of Dave White's listeners asked about it! (And I wrote the book: Christmas on Television, buy it at Amazon.com -- plug, plug.)
It's readers/listeners that keep us on our toes, isn't it? God bless 'em (every one) . . .
Merry, merry!
Diane
Diane,
Good point--CHRISTMAS television. I think I was focusing on the word play and forgot the crucial detail.
It's all a thing of, um... having the timing right, and... stuff.
I will add the clarifying word.
A Wagon Train Xmas episode? I wonder if Santa's sleigh broke down and he had to borrow a wagon and some horses? Probably not....
Themadblonde,
I'll try to catch that live, and, if not, will definitely listen to the archived show. Good luck. Break a log! I mean, leg.
Christmas humor, there.
Thanks, Lee! I'm a week behind on your amazing posts (& crazy to catch up before I'm gone again), but looking forward to reading them all.
Christmas is coming
The Mad Blonde's getting fat...
(well, fatter...)
