Our precious American right to vote vs. database field mismatches. (Guess which issue takes precedence?)

The Hinder America's Vote Act (HAVA) is providing the Republicans with endless provisions-taken-out-of-context excuses for stomping down the vote. Meanwhile, the public is really, really concerned.

Sorry, that second part was over-the-top fiction. Anyway, read all about it at MY(P)WHAE text: Our Precious Right to Vote, and Other Naive Folk Concepts. I put it there so as to keep this blog focused on the pretend Halloween, vice the real version being played out across these once-United States.

Grandchild to grandfather, c. 2208: "Grandpa, what was voting?" Grandpa: "You know, I don't completely remember. That was so very long ago...."

Maybe Ohio has just taken a lesson from another Midwest state to allow dead people and fictitious people vote Democratic.

Seems to work every 4 years just two states West of Ohio.....

I hate to break it to you, but dead and fictitious people can't vote. Why? Because they're dead and/or fictitious.

Besides, dead and/or fictitious people, lacking any and all judgment, would likely vote for Palin-McCain.

So if I understand the American system, the Democrats are so egalitarian that they want to include dead and/or fake Americans in voting whereas the Republicans are so exclusionist that they want to stop most living and/or real Americans from voting.
