Did you know about this?
“I am deeply troubled by the news that Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner and her family have been subjected to repeated serious threats. This sort of behavior simply has no place in a healthy democracy. I know we can all agree that, regardless of which party we belong to or which candidates we support, threatening our public officials or their family members with physical harm has no place in Ohio or America. I admire the steady resolve of Secretary Brunner and her partners at the local bipartisan boards of elections as they continue to prepare for this historic election, and I wish them well as they work to ensure that our elections are administered fairly.”
--Ohio Governor Ted Strickland.

IMO the "dullards" with the "streak of nastiness" are the dishonest Democrats.....
Learn to use quotation marks. Neither "dullards" or "streak of nastiness" appears in my post.
How weird. We just had a rash of threatening graffitti here in MN @ the homes of several politicians, both Rep & Dem. The taggers mentioned "Psalm 2" several times.

Come on Lee, move to Florida. Things are much better here!
Just a note to the various "Anonymous"es: If you're here simply to insult me, your comments will be deleted.
...because I know details are important to you, I point out that while it's true that neither "dullards" or "streak of nastiness" appears in Music You (Possibly) Won't Hear Anyplace Else, "streak of nastiness" does appear in MYPWHAE Text, which you link to from your Thursday, October 23, 2008 Music You (Possibly) Won't Hear Anyplace Else post.
I searched both Music You (Possibly) Won't Hear Anyplace Else and MYPWHAE Text; "dullards" is not used anywhere in either blog. Until anonymous used it.
Perhaps anonymous was hoping you had written something about The Dullards, a Rock/Country/Alt band out of DC. After all, this is a music blog about music you (possibly) won't hear anyplace else. And I'm thinkin' you won't hear much from The Dullards anyplace.
But then again, maybe anonymous is just a stupid or unimaginative person.
Keep up the great work, Lee.
Oh, that's right--it does ("streak of nastiness"). I thought I'd typed "with a nasty streak."
But I knew I hadn't used "dullards." Oh, well.
I'd apologize to Anon. if he'd had any intention other than question the honesty of Ohio Democrats when all evidence points to big-time GOP dishonesty. It's the standard Republican response to all charges, no matter how damning the proof--no, it's the DEMS who are guilty. They just say it to say it.
Thanks for the nice words!
I mean "if he'd had any intention other than TO question...."
Where's my grammar? (No, not in the kitchen, baking cookies.)
I remember fourth-grade jokes with fondness. Don't know if that's a good sign or not.

Ever heard of freedom of speech? Deleting comments for whatever reason is censorhip, pure and simple. Are you sure you want to go there?
Ever read Saul Alinsky's "Rules For Radicals", Leo? As I recall, his Rule #3 or #4 or #5 was to insult people and call them names. He said it was one of the most effective Leftist tactics to neutralize one's political opponents, and also to brainwash the public.
Alinsky was the subject of Hillary Clinton's long-suppressed college thesis, and he's also an O'bama mentor.
Get with the program!
Hm. You want me to insult you?
As far as censorship goes, no one's freedom of speech is riding on whether or not they get to post here. At least, for their sake, I hope not!
Oops. I did the standard singular/plural pronoun mismatch (no one/their).
Once it becomes standard enough, it will no longer be incorrect, of course.
Thank goodness your taste in music is better than your taste in politics, Lee.
Yes, too bad I don't approve of vote-stealing and death threats....
