As I noted in my last post, Savefile appears to be no more. Unless it's the fault of our Internet "service"--dunno. Anything's possible.
I was, however, able to get stuff to Box.net (whose upload time is about 1/10 of Savefile's). These are the Four Jacks (who, I understand, were never the same four from side to side or label to label), with covers of Bill Haley's R-O-C-K and The Four Lads' Standing on the Corner. The sound quality on the first title is almost nonexistent, whereas the second's is more than acceptable. Both are good, solid covers--especially Standing.
The label is Gateway Top Tune, which put out tons of low-price covers during the Fifties, the quality of which varied like crazy from one title to the next. I have an earlier Four Jacks side on an earlier version of this label (Top Tunes, vice Gateway Top Tune).
The Four Jacks--R-O-C-K, Standing on the Corner.
