Three Christ-back-in-Christmas songs, one Mom-at-Christmas title, and four country gospel numbers. You'll be glad you stopped by. All but one were ripped from 78s.

Long-time viewer/reader/listener, Lee. Such wonderful work you do... Thank you, thank you for the care, effort, generosity of time & spirit, and humor.
Unfortunately, 4Shared doesn't work at all for me. I've tried and tried to access your recent files, but every time -- after waiting for at least 96 seconds per try on their countdown clock -- I lose the connection as soon as I click on their link. Somehow, clicking causes my browser to close entirely. Only file sharing system I have this problem with. Ah, well... Still enjoy the site and descriptions. First Christmas I've not been able to hear your terrific tunes. <>.
Thanks for all that you do,
Wolf
Wolf,
Sorry to hear that. Let me see if I can find an alternative. The reason I don't use Box.net for everything, of course, is the downloading bandwidth limit. Maybe I can go the Ernie route and use Mediafire. Stay tuned....
Hi again, Wolf.
Try this link: http://www.mediafire.com/?mdgw51a4viafw73
Ernie likes MediaFire. But eventually they'll screw it up, just like they did with RapidShare. Oh, well.
On the other hand, I think I have a different 'Christ in Christmas" 78 somewhere that I hope to share. This has evidently been a popular theme, probably going back to at least 1 AD.
The serial number (Unger Music E1-KB-2381)might indicate an RCA Victor master, in which case the date would be 1951.
Thanks!
Hey Lee,
Caroll Forseth is my dad... The recordings aren't accessible like you're previous links. Are you in possession of the original 78s? We have since copied them to CDs as well.
Fun to see them put up online! They were a trio of brothers that travelled all over the world in the 50's in gospel crusades. Robert (my uncle) would preach and they would all sing together. They are children of Norwegian immigrants, whose first language was Norwegian. You can sometimes hear a little accent coming through in their songs. They were raised in Northern Alberta Canada. Robert is still pastoring currently in Seattle Wa, Caroll has become quite a well known artist ( You can Google him) and lives in Scottsdale, AZ, and Armond is retired in Vancouver, B.C.. They are all still serving the Lord!
Grace,
Thanks very much for the information! Great to get the update on Robert. Were you unable to download this file? Let me know--I can repost to Mediafire.
Thanks for stopping by!
