Sunday morning gospel: Sacred 78s for my Birthday!

Whenever I type "sacred," I double-check to make sure I didn't type "scared." "Scared 78s." As far as I know, my 78s are without worry.
Me? A little stressed on my Birthday, which is today.
Why am I stressed? Dunno. Because I'm turning 54? Or maybe it's because of the the elevated grass and tree pollen levels. That must be it--allergy-related nerves. After all, I've been getting older all my life, so I have no reason to dread this particular instance thereof.
Still, I'm feeling a bit glum. How to break that mood? Wait a minute, I know! With this morning's playlist! A playlist containing no fewer than sixteen sacred 78s, with such cheery titles as Great Judgement Morning and My Latest Sun Is Sinking Fast (a.k.a. Angel Band, a.k.a. The Land of Beulah). A few are overdue repeats, one (He Bore It All/Gospel Waves) is a significant upgrade, and all the rest are making their cyber-debut right here on our shoe. Those include George Beverly Shea, assisted by the 900-voice Seattle Crusade Choir of Billy Graham, singing The Railroad Song, which is actually Life's Railway to Heaven, which was written by Charlie D. Tillman, who shows up on two of our selections (both 1925) as a singer. Around here, we call that just another playlist.
Listen to these old gospel 78s, and you'll soon hear yourself say, "These are some old gospel 78s!"
