Have a Little Susie Christmas!

I hate to be the bearer of bad grooves, but....

From 1956, a 2009 repeat. (Wait a minute....) I mean, from 2009, a 1956 repeat. Now, my Christmas-record tolerance is as high as anyone's, and much higher than most folks', but I still find these two sides god-awful in a way that's impossible to describe. So, enjoy!

I know nothing about "Little Susie," except that the voice actor was obviously an adult male. These two sides sound like they were coughed up in less time than it took to wax them.

So, enjoy! (I already said that, didn't I?)

Who Put the Gum... uses Ten Little Indians for its melody, and I just realized the following words can be sung to it: Stop, make it stop, please make it stop. Stop, make it stop, please make it stop. Stop, make it stop, please make it stop. I'll do anything. And so on.

I don't recognize the second melody. It probably doesn't recognize me, either. Enjoy!

Who Put the Gum in Santa's Whiskers? Little Susie, 1956.

Christmas Season--Same, um, person.

Whew - just got around to listening to these. Fortunately I've got other tunes to help purge them from aural short-term memory :-)

While an expensive option, therapy helps, too. With professional help, you can erase the memory of Little Susie in, say, three weeks. Four, tops.
