However, I had recently backed everything up to an external drive, so little has been lost.
My PC is being given a new C drive as we speak--I'll likely have it back soon. I'm switching PCs with Bev, anyway. Bigger, more powerful, and with Windows 7. And a touch screen. Best news ever for my carpal tunnel.
What did people do before computers? Besides not Net surf?
Here is a promo/preview/ad? for a marvelous comedy called Polterguys. I assume this is an actual series waiting to be aired--if so, I hope someone picks it up. Of course, it's so close to the real deal, Syfy might pass, figuring its current fare is funnier. By the way, "Imagine greater" is a really dumb slogan for Siffy, since nothing is easier than imagining greater programming from them. I mean, it's a bigger joke than AMC, which is impossible, but nevertheless the case.
Anyway, Polterguys: http://www.chaostheoryent.com/polter/polter.html The whole group is brilliant, with Margaret Easley especially funny as the self-absorbed psychic (is that redundant?). If you see Margaret and say, "Wasn't she in that commercial for (name of brand)?" she probably was.
