Draggin' Waggin--The Triumphs
I think (not sure) that I found this at a Columbus, Ohio thrift store. Or it may have been Half Baked--er, Half Price Books. But, in that case, there should be a label sticker, and there isn't, so it was probably Goodwill or Volunteers of America. At any rate, I found this Columbus, Ohio-pressed 45 someplace in Columbus, Ohio, which is cool. Cooler still are the band members' signatures on the label, which show up very clearly in this scan but not away from it. Black ink on dark blue is not the ideal signature format!
I'm normally not crazy about instrumental rock of the pre-Beatles era, but Draggin' Waggin is one fabulous side. So is the flip, but unfortunately I couldn't get an adequate rip of it. (This disc is barely a G, condition-wise.) In fact, the side we're about to hear has a skip near the start, but try to spot it. Can I edit, or what?
Earl Loar, lead singer and bassist for the Triumphs, gives a brief history of the group at this page. Without any further draggin', here are central Ohio's Triumphs, from 1961 (see Comments): Draggin' Waggin' (Fred Gartner)--Triumph 1001; 1961.

Your scans not great but looks like M so 1961 was year of press ( Officail Release may be latter)
Probably pressed at RCA's Indianapolis, IN plant. Look for an "I" in the run-out groove.
Drunken Hobo,
Yes, it's an M. Thanks! My 1960 guess was almost on the mark.
Anon.,
Unfortunately, no "I." There is a "1" following the matrix number, though.
