Stay tuned.

Say it aint so, Joe? Not the live Christmas concert, but the retiring thing… :(

I'm afraid it's true. But I have a sizable retirement account--52 cents from AdSense, I believe. (Or is that 52 sense from AdCents?)

Yes, I plan to close this blog and delete it (I saved it to a DVD-R). I don't want it hanging around as a ghost blog, though I may keep an intro page up (i.d.'ing this as a deceased blog). Of course, that would mean having to manually delete all past posts. Gulp.

Anyway, this is my third (actually, fourth) go-round of this type. I'm assured that this is all the work of "bots" belonging to the sites in question, but, except for Mediafire going after my files after a complaint from (I think it was) Argentina (!), it's always been gripes from external parties--or so it's been reported to me. All I know is that none of this is worth the hassle.

I'll keep on blogging, though. I'll probably have a blog for the stuff I play and/or compose, and I plan to start a (believe it or not) comic book blog. In fact, my main collecting passion has become Boomer-era comics (of the non-superhero type), with sound recordings finally taking a back seat after, oh, 40 years.

You did want the long answer, right? (-:

I was just saying that I feel your pain. I've been through quite a few hosting companies over the years and gotten nasty letters from most of them. And I got two checks from AdSense before they dumped me like a hot potato. It will be a shame to see you go, our blogs were started at about the same time and we've had similar taste through the years...
