So, I do not have a broad range of Organ music to draw upon.
As I was born after the Disco era, I bought a couple of cheap Disco compilation CDs that are sold here in Europe. Not bad, but different.
This Hammond album seems to me at least to have some Disco beats to it. Maybe they were aiming for that segment of the buying public.
Anyways, I can add these tracks to your playlists and make a massive playlist. I will include these other 6 tracks I found on your blog. I am sure there are more? It seems Burt wrote many songs.
Bryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18308264392226573056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13248979.post-25562454749538819732023-02-16T11:48:16.457-05:002023-02-16T11:48:16.457-05:00Bryan,

However, you're correct--it's an interesting LP.Lee Hartsfeldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15378950382643333359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13248979.post-90596624465652160132023-02-16T04:51:24.519-05:002023-02-16T04:51:24.519-05:00Hey Lee,

Interesting album.

I found 6 additional Burt covers that were not included in your Less Common series. However, they may have come from later album postings you made. As I am not familiar with Burts' music, I only noticed those tracks you had credited to him.

Excellent and time-consuming work you put into these collections. Thanks.Bryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18308264392226573056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13248979.post-33748990759511392842021-10-22T17:23:42.319-04:002021-10-22T17:23:42.319-04:00Ernie,

I've seen lots of semi and full nude covers from the UK around this time and a bit earlier. I think the entire Stereo Action series was reissued with topless covers around this time. The Europeans seemed to be much more open to casual nudity than us uptight Americans.Erniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02589056878160272070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13248979.post-87207051590379075112021-10-22T02:46:06.051-04:002021-10-22T02:46:06.051-04:00Andrew,

To my ears this is an artist steeped in the past; a cinema organist let loose here on an instrument capable of so much more. ~If I had bought this,at the time, thinking it would swing, I'd have been deeply disappointed. Ena plays to her strenghths, but the limitations of her pre-war style are evident. In the 1970s this was well and truly for old people. Older even than us!
